Mount Maintenance

At our shop we clean our mounts with a soft cloth with mount shield applied sparingly.  We recommend that you keep mounts dusted and out of direct sunlight.

Moisture and humidity can have detrimental effects on mounts. Environment should be controlled such as your home.  Damp basements and unheated garages are not recommended for trophies.

We can inspect and clean your mounts for you in your home or at our facility. We request all mounts to be inspected outside of our building prior to entering our shop. Please call for pricing.

Can you mount birds of prey and songbirds?

Not for individuals. Due to federal regulations, all song birds and birds of prey are illegal to possess by any individual.

However, we do have a federal license to mount these birds with permits from state or federal law enforcement, providing all proper paperwork is filed.
