Metalized

Unique and lasting skulls can be finished using a patented cold metal application which preserves 100% of the skulls features, using  95% real metal and 5% a polymer binder that reacts with the metal to form a composite.

Finishes are available for an elegant, historic, antique look or a more modern, bright, futuristic look.

     High Polish Only

Antiqued finish is essentially staining of the metal with strong acids. The piece is then polished to remove the patina over the majority of the skull to expose the metal underneath, leaving depressions in the piece darker, which brings out the rich features of the skull.

Modern finishes are obtained when the skull goes through six polishing stages to achieve the highest degree of polish available. The last stage is done with a flannel polishing wheel used in conjunction with a high quality wax.

The Antiqued or Modern finish will need polished once in a while, or it can be allowed to patina naturally. A jeweler's polishing cloth is included for you if you choose to have just the wax finish.

ClearCoat

If you'd prefer it stay the way it looked the day you receive it, then consider having a patented ceramic, crystal ClearCoat added to your order. This finish is extremely durable, and will require no future polishing to maintain the appearance. ClearCoat is virtually undetectable.

Repairs

Damaged items can be repaired prior to the metalizing process.
